A Little About Me
My Practice
I specialise in warm, high quality therapy for anxiety, other intense emotions, and self-esteem issues, with a focus on empowering women to feel more confident, calm, and self-assured. Based in Chislehurst, within the London Borough of Bromley, I offer both online and in-person sessions.
I am the creator and lead psychologist of Thea Psychology. We are a small team of highly qualified psychologists dedicated to helping women who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or burdened by self-doubt regain control over their lives.
As a women-focused practice, Thea Psychology was created by women, for women. Our approach is designed to address the unique challenges women face, from anxiety and stress to self-criticism and imposter syndrome.
What I'm Like
I have a deep understanding of the emotional challenges women face and this has shaped my passion for making effective, compassionate therapy more accessible to women. As well as being a dedicated professional with 13 years experience in the NHS and 5 in private practice, I'm also a mum of two, which brings a relatable, real life and warm perspective to my practice. I am calm, kind and professional.
What Can You Expect From My Sessions
I work using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT): you can expect our sessions to be kind, focussed on helping you make sense of your problems and then working on steps you can take to feel better.
Our therapy, rooted in evidence-based practices, will help you discover more effective ways to manage intense emotions and navigate life’s difficulties. We will support you in developing essential skills that you may choose to work on, such as self-soothing, self-compassion, acceptance, self-awareness, and mindfulness.

Our first session
Attending therapy might feel a bit anxiety-provoking at first, but I will always try to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Our first session usually involves hearing more about you and your life story from the very beginning, as this is crucial for us to understand how you have come to be where you are now. We will go at your pace and ensure you feel heard and respected. During this session, we will also discuss your current challenges and goals for therapy. By the end of the session, we will have a clearer picture of your situation and can outline a plan for how we can work together to address your needs and help you move forward.
