A Little About Me

My Practice
Hello! I'm Laetitia, a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. I have been working with people’s emotional well-being for five years in various capacities. I provide ongoing therapy for individuals who are interested in deepening their understanding of themselves, as well as their relationships, goals, and patterns. I bring my passion for organization and empathy to my work, offering people an outlet to rest their burdens. I often see clients experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I work with adults, adolescents, parents/child dyads, and couples. I use evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic therapy. My approach to treatment combines humanistic, existential, cognitive, and mind-body integration perspectives. The specific treatment methods I use and the duration of psychotherapy depend on your history, current circumstances, the issues we explore, and our mutually established goals for therapy. Regardless of the treatment methods used, the focus will be on empowering you to make the changes you wish to make in your life. I am passionate about helping people find their own wisdom and answers, moving towards a life that fulfills them and fosters growth over the years. Often, we seek therapy when our support systems and usual coping mechanisms are not enough. Finding a therapist who is a good fit for you can be a crucial step in regaining balance. What I offer is unique to you and defined by your goals and needs. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for my clients.
What I'm Like
I tailor my sessions to the client's needs. I can be both directive and collaborative. I have strong communication and listening skills, and I am a persuasive person. I am generally reflective and serious in sessions, but I can incorporate humor from time to time.

What Can You Expect From My Sessions

I ensure that the focus is always on the client. I introduce, maintain, and uphold confidentiality, as building trust is a crucial aspect of the therapist-client relationship. I share different treatment options with clients and consider their reasons for attending therapy. With trust established, structure helps clients stay within the boundaries of the sessions.
