A Little About Me
My Practice
I am a clinical psychologist based in Paris. I provide online sessions in French, English and Arabic. My approach is integrative and experiential, combining Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Gestalt therapy, Positive Psychology and Emotional Freedom Techniques.
I like to have a collaborative approach with clients. I am interested in getting to know who you are and I believe that the therapeutic relationship can be highly supportive in itself. I focus on identifying your needs and goals, and plan therapeutic work accordingly.
For over a decade, I have worked with various age groups, supporting them with their mental health, growth and wellbeing, in different settings (NGO’s, psychiatric inpatient unit, health center, private practice).
On this journey, I have learned a lot from clients. Indeed, what is taught theoretically through books is never enough to understand a person. Therefore, I rely on active listening and on an experiential approach. I feel a personal vocation to work with persons struggling with depression, anxiety, burnout, career changes, with persons in the situation of migration, and with persons wishing to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I also offer individual supervision sessions for psychologists trainees’, and I facilitate group sessions aiming for professionals to reflect upon their professional identity and to think together about solving difficult work situations they encounter (‘groupe d’analyse des pratiques professionnelles’).
What I'm Like
I am curious, empathetic, multi-passionate and determined. I am interested in the value and potential of each person, and in their own personal story.
I think that one of the major aspects of our work together is facilitating an authentic and safe therapeutic space that would allow you to step confidently into yourself and to face the difficulties or projects that are bringing you to therapy. I am also very sensitive to helping people assert themselves in their relationships, to human rights and equality.
What Can You Expect From My Sessions
I usually set an agenda with you at the beginning of each session according to what we’ve agreed to focus on. However the agenda is not strict and can shift from working on content to working on process. In some sessions, you may feel like you are learning useful tools for managing some of your difficulties, in other sessions, it may simply be a matter of exploring and addressing a point you need to reflect on or clarify.
I can suggest small exercises to do during or between sessions. Sometimes therapy takes place in this space between sessions, during which you have time to practice certain skills or process some thoughts or conversations.

Our first session
The first session is usually an assessment session, during which I take the time to ask you questions about yourself, your personal history, previous mental health experiences, expectations and reasons for seeking therapy. It is also a good time to ask any questions you might have about the process. It is very important for you to feel comfortable enough with the first session before going further in therapy, different persons feel differently depending on the therapist's approach and personality.
